Tasting notes : Topo Tinto Red Blend
Topo Tinto Red Blend is a wine that is characterized by its aromatic exuberance, with notes of red fruits and vanilla. On the palate it is fruity with velvety notes of ripe red fruits. Balanced by notes of spices, chocolate and some hints of oak. It is an elegant wine with firm tannins and a fruity finish.

Casa Santos Lima is a family business dedicated to the production, bottling and marketing of Portuguese wines. They work in the regions of Lisbon, Algarve, Alentejo, Douro and Vinho Verde. The company produces wines known for their excellent quality/price ratio. And exports around 90% of its total production to more than 50 countries on 5 continents. Casa Santos Lima is also the largest producer of “Vinho Regional Lisboa” and “DOC Alenquer” and in recent years has been one of the most awarded Portuguese producers in the main national and international wine competitions.
Currently, the company’s main facilities (offices, shop and larger wine cellars) are located at Quinta da Boavista in Alenquer. Just 45 km north of the city of Lisbon. This Quinta belongs to the Santos Lima family for 5 generations and offers ideal conditions for the production of quality wine.
Casa Santos Lima also has its own vineyards in the Algarve, Douro and Vinho Verde regions, as well as a long-standing partnership with a producer in the Alentejo region.
Previously destemmed, the grapes went through a low temperature pre-fermentative maceration for 24 hours. The alcoholic fermentation is done in stainless steel vats with temperature control between 26º – 28ºC, for 14 days. Skin contact maceration with (submerged) cap for 28 days. Partial ageing in oak barrels.
