Peter Lehman Stonewell Shiraz opens with lifted blackberry, boysenberry and dark plum fruit layered with notes of cedarwood, liquorice and smoky oak. Rich and full-bodied, the palate is plush and concentrated with an inky texture, spiced fruitcake characters and long, firm tannins that carry impressive depth and persistence. Powerful yet refined, this is a classic Stonewell release and will cellar comfortably for the next 15-25 years.

The story of Stonewell Shiraz began in 1987, to create a wine of immense depth and intensity. The wine was named ‘Stonewell’ after the district that Peter Lehmann believed best showed the characters he admired most in Barossa Shiraz.
The secret to our wines is the outstanding quality of grapes – often referred to as little black jewels – drawn only from low-yielding vineyards that produce sparse bunches with tiny, but intensely flavoured fruit.
Their winery, vineyards, and grower network are proudly Sustainable Winegrowing Australia certified. This certification reflects our commitment to reducing environmental impact, preserving land, and supporting local communities.
