Tasting notes:
Mad Bird Dark Malbec. Deep red with flecks of purple and expressive aromas of ripe blackcurrant, violet and vanilla on the nose. A complex palate of vanilla and cedar with rounded tannins and fruit. Long, lingering finish.
Food Match:
Excellent with steak or with deep, complex mushroom based dishes
Producer/Region:
Corbeau Wines is a project of the RodrÃguez Family, a third generation of producers who, with vast experience and deep roots in the Mendoza wine scene, were able to detect a deficiency in the market offering. The winery is located in the Province of Mendoza, in the west of the Argentine Republic, a prominent region for agricultural cultivation, with wide recognition not only nationally but also worldwide.
The vineyards, located in the east of the province, are the full expression of Mendoza’s vines. A constant contrast between technology that integrates into the landscape in an impeccable and wonderful harmony. The arid lands and desert dunes have been adapted to create unique plantations, which are nothing less than a tribute to the noble traditional wine-growing culture.
