Tasting notes Cru Bourgeois Médoc 2015
Ripe cassis fruit, oak spice and a leafy note to the ripe tannins. Gently feral and showing a hint of maturity, the sous bois-flavoured finish is long and spicy with a lingering, fruity core.

Production
Vines average 25 years of age and grow on particularly gravelly and sandy, free-draining soil within 23ha of Château Carcanieux’s 40ha Médoc estate. Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (40%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Petit Verdot (5%) are vinified in stainless steel tanks and aged oak barrels, with no more than a fifth in new oak.
