Gwinllan Conwy is an award winning vineyard, producing Welsh still and sparkling wines made using the traditional method. The delicious wines have been recognised on both a national and international level, winning many awards along the way.
It was thier passion for winet hat inspired planting the vineyard in 2012. Having no experience of growing vines, they planted just 300 to begin with and have expanded to 3000 vines over 3 acres, learning valuable lessons along the way.
Initially the wines were made using cool climate varieties however, due to our exceptional weather, they decided to plant some traditional varieties such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. These wines will be released in 2021 and they are very excited to see how they develop.
They have learnt a great deal about wine-making working closely with the winery and their wines have developed over the years, as they have improved their growing techniques. They are very proud to say that there wines have received much recognition winning awards, even from the very first vintage.
There is however, always much to learn, both in the vineyard and the winery which they will continue to embrace to bring you the very best Welsh wines.

The scheme highlights the quality and regional character of wines whose authenticity and origin can be guaranteed.
