Since there origin in 1968, they have steadily established themselves as Australia’s least well known top twenty winery. Happily enjoying their under the radar reputation as a quality, efficient and innovative winemaker for those in the know.

Under the careful and considered guidance of their Winemaker Jo Nash, they make elegant, balanced, modern Australian wines with care and attention that is second to none. Their grapes are grown in Central Victoria and the Murray Darling, in vineyards bordered by the Goulburn or the Murray rivers or situated in the high altitude Strathbogie Ranges and the low lying Goulburn Valley.
They also source fruit from vineyards across Victoria by partnering in long term relationships with like-minded vignerons across the State. From their beautiful high altitude vineyards in the Strathbogie Ranges through to their growers’ irrigated holdings along the mighty Murray River, they are on the hunt for perfection at every stage of the process, making decisions that pursue excellence from the vineyard to the bottle.
Winemaking:
The wine is lightly oaked using old French barrels, allowing the wine oak for structure and balance, without imparting strong oak tannins. Sangiovese is typically a lighter style of red wine, early to release and easy to drink, which is why they bottle it young to retain those youthful, fresh, fruity characters.
Let the sun shine in with their Aquarius Sangiovese. This funky, carefree wine is crafted from grapes grown in there spectacularly beautiful Central Victorian Vineyards. Enjoy in peace, love and happiness.
